Today, Tucepi (population 1,760) is a well-known and estimated seaside resort frequented by a great numbers of visitors.

The place offers 2,000 hotel beds and 4,000 beds in private guest-houses, ten odd restaurants, konobas (traditional Dalmatian inns), and other hotel and catering objects with a wide choice of traditional food and drinks.

More than that, if you decide to spend your holiday in Tucepi. you will enjoy the four-kilometre long pebble beach and the promenade along the beach, the pine woods throughout the place, and above all, you will relax in a friendly atmosphere and hospitality of your hosts.

Entertainment and cultural programmes are offered all the summer in the form of "The Tucepi Summer Evenings" beginning with St. Anthony's Festival on June 13 (St. Anthony of Padua is the patron of the parish).

Through the summer you can enjoy the benefits of our offer ranging from relaxing and enjoying natural beauties to concerts. open air stage performances, drama evenings, Dalmatian group singing of folk songs, plastic arts and paintings exhibitions, sports competitions and public festivals.

It takes you only an hour by car to reach St. Jure ( 1762 m), the highest peak of the mountain Biokovo. From the peak or from the other spots in the vicinity you can enjoy the unsurpassed views of mountain slopes, neighbouring islands, and the whole Riviera with its beaches, woods, bays and hotels. If you want to meditate upon the past, go for a walk along the marked paths to the nearby hamlets, which takes you not more than 30 to 50 minutes.

The favourable geographical position of Tucepi enables you to visit a great number of neighbouring towns and islands in one-day excursions. You can visit the islands of Hvar, Brac, the towns of Split and Dubrovnik or the pilgrimage destination of Medugorje.
